Introducing our apprentice miller

An exotic addition to our team, Kenny comes from Tanzania. He and his wife Katie owned a safari camp in the south of Tanzania but have swapped big game for the wild life of Orkney.
Kenny has been learning all about milling for nearly two years now. He is a man of many talents, including stone carving and wood working- a great asset to Barony Mill. He’s already very knowledgeable about the history of the mill, and as he takes you on a tour you’ll spot a twinkle in his eye. He has a great sense of humour.
