The first half of the book traces the history of bere. The second half  gives recipes, lots of new ideas about how to use beremeal.

Liz has been an enthusiastic supporter of Barony Mill for many years and devised lots of recipes using beremeal. The traditional ‘bere bannock’ probably has as many recipes as folk who make it, many handed down from generation to generation.
